Need more light when driving at night? Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Headlight Bulbs Review

Can you see good when you're at driving night? For me that depends on which of my trucks I am driving. My newer truck has really bright lights, in fact I get other cars flashing their lights at me when my lights aren't even on hi-beams. I thought that it was because my truck sits quite high up. But, my husband says its because it has really bright lights too.
On the other hand, our other truck had very dim lights. I could drive with my lights on hi-beam and no other drivers would even notice. I thought that it was because my truck was alittle older, I didn't realize that it needed new headlights. Or that you could replace its headlight bulbs and actually see better. Headlights are just one of those things on a car that most people don't think much about. At least, I didn't.

Most people don't realize that they have choices when it comes to their headlights and SYLVANIA offers a variety that increase visibility and helps improve safety. Sylvania SilverStar Ultra lights are up to 50 percent brighter, increase down road visibility by up to 40 percent and side road visibility by up to 50 percent when compared to worn standard bulbs. These are DOT-compliant, street legal headlights that offer the whitest and brightest light of all SYLVANIA halogen headlights.

Lightbulbs

I had the opportunity to review Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs.
Before, I didn't know much about headlights. That's because my husband usually takes care of our vehicle maintenance. I thought that our one truck had dim lights because it was older. I didn't know that you should change your headlight bulbs or there was a difference between headlight bulbs until getting these Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs. Wow!!! What a difference! My husband changed out the old headlight bulbs and put the new ones in. He said that the installation was easy and didn't take much time at all. Then I drove the truck at night. (I live in the country and most of my driving includes back roads that at night are very dark, so this was the test) These bulbs made a huge difference. I was surprised at how well I could see. I couldn't believe it. I felt like I was driving my other truck. I could see so much further and better than before. I feel alot safer driving this truck at night now.

These pictures below are like a before and after picture.

Accidents are three times more likely to occur at night than during the day. Here are some tips to keep you and your family safe on the road:

~Consider replacing standard halogen headlights with headlights that produce a brighter and whiter light. Studies have shown that whiter, brighter halogen lighting can improve reaction time, increase nighttime visibility and provide better roadside viewing.

~Don't wait for your headlights to dim and burn out before you replace them. Most headlights will dim up to 20 percent over time so evaluate them every year to ensure the best lighting performance.

~Replace your headlights in pairs to avoid uneven illumination, which can diminish driving visibility.

~Clean your headlight lenses and windshield to help you see better at night and in poor weather conditions.

~Ask your auto service person to make sure your headlights are properly aimed. Headlights can be knocked out of alignment by rough driving and, if not properly aimed, can be distracting to other drivers.

~Periodically check all your car lights to make sure they are in good working order. Ask a family member or friend to turn on the headlights, brake lights and turn signals as you walk around the outside of the car.

Please keep these safety tips in mind while driving and Be safe!!! IF you need more light when driving at night, You can purchase these headlight bulbs at most Auto Retail stores or at Amazon.com
