Smelly Towels or laundry--Who has that? Not me!!!
I've never had my husband throw wet towels on the laundry room floor to sit there for a few days. And of course, I have never washed a load of towels and got too busy or forgot about them and left them sitting in the washer overnight--only for them to smell and need them to be re-washed again. Ok... I guess that's happened a few times around here. But... I've found a solution!!!
Smelly Towel Cleaner is an all natural product that has a wonderful garden fresh fragrance and is specifically made to remove that musty, mildew smell from towels and clothing. Just a teaspoon added to a full load of musty towels or laundry makes them smell like new again! This really works too!!! Most people know that especially on those warm days that towels will get a musty, mildew smell if you leave them wet lying around. (My husband helped me test this product out.) He was nice enough to throw a couple of wet towels on the laundry room floor and leave them there for a couple of days- to see if this Smelly Towel Cleaner really worked or not.) It passed the test!!! It worked really good for me. I took a few smelly towels and placed them in the washer with a capful of the Smelly Towel Cleaner and when the towels were done washing, they had no smell to them at all. This product is a must in my household!! (Especially during the summer months.)
The bottle says that in extreme cases, you might need to soak for 2 hours to completely remove odor. I have not had extreme cases (knock on wood) so I wouldn't know, but I have had a few loads of laundry get left in the washer overnight and when I re-washed them, I used the Smelly Towel Cleaner in place of laundry detergent and they came out odor-free. I have a new front-loading washer and smelly towels have been quite an issue here at my house. From what I understand, this is pretty common. I'd love to try this product and see if it does, indeed, work.
Here's my laundry tip: When you purchase a new pair of jeans, wash them the first time with your older jeans to brighten them up a bit.

My laundry tip is to always use those little plastic things to keep your pairs of socks paired up.Tuff on the eyes to sort Navy Blue & Black with different patterns.

My Siamese the wash cloths that have been left to dry & smell musty & rubs her face with it. Instead of having the "Little Pink Sock" like the cat in Mutts my cat has a "little smelly rag". It's quite cute to watch She looks like she has Cat Nip til you realize its a musty wash cloth.

I use Lestoil to get most stains out of my clothes. It works especially well on grease stains.
my tip is not to use those plastic balls they are selling to put in the dryer for softer drying; they make a racket and don't work.

My laundry tip was given to me when I was complaining I couldn't get the stink out of my washer, its like a musty smell. My friend told me to add a little pinesol. It worked great!
My tip is for getting ink out of clothing - spray hairspray on the ink and blot. It does work!

Laundry tip: for whites I leave them soak in water for about 15 minutes before I shut the lid. For darks I always use extra soap Works!!!

Don't leave your laundry in the dryer. Try to remove as soon as the dryer stops or if clothes are dry earlier.

My laundry tip is: if you have an item of clothing that has a grease/oil stain on it.. Before you wash it pat it with baby powder it will help absorb the oil. it works! suelee1998 @ gmail.com

Always check the pockets! My kids are awful about having paper or a tissue or something that makes a huge mess if washed.
And you might get lucky and find a buck or two.

My laundry tip is turn your clothes inside out, especially like the kids clothes with logo's on them and wash in cold water, then dry for 10 min. turn back right side out and hang to dry. It makes your clothes last so much longer without fading!

My tip is to use Should color catchers in your wash when you have different shades of non-whites to wash together. They really help.

I have some curtains in one bedroom that are white but start tuning tanish over time so I learned that you can soak whites in vinegar and baking soda overnight and it brings them back white and its all natural also

I do a ton of laundry for a large household. My best tip is to use a good quality laundry detergent. It really doesn't pay to use a cheaper, watered down detergent if you are going to have to rewash your clothes. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com
