The Berenstain Bears-God Loves You ~Book Review~
About the Author: Created by Stan & Jan Berenstain with Mike Berstain Stan and Jan Berestain introduced the first Berenstain Bears book in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents, Stan and Jan, working together to write and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Mike is married to Andrea and they have three children. They live in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks a lot like Bear Country.
Book Description: The Berenstain Bear series helps children learn how God wants them to live every day. When the Bear family practices going to church, praying, and being kind, plus remembering how much God loves them, their lives are much more joyful.
In God Loves You! Brother and Sister Bear discover that God loves them, not because they’re successful, but because he made them. This book helps children appreciate the many ways God shows his love to them.
My Thoughts: This is a beautiful book. I have always loved reading the Berenstain Bears books and watching them on tv. They are a typical family. The bear children act alot like my children and I can relate to many of their stories. This book is one in the Living Lights series that helps children learn how God wants them to live every day. I don't want to give it away but this is cute story, that lets you see that God Loves You not because you are a Star or Successful, but because he made You. This book is great for 4-7 years olds and helps them to see the many ways God show his love. This is a Great story that any parent would love to read to their children. The back cover even gives you activities and questions for further discussion.
