The Searses guide parents and caregivers from a child's infancy through the teen years, teaching them what to expect at regular checkups as well as how to boost a child's well-being, devise a family health plan, work effectively with their pediatrician, and more. Distinguished by the Searses' trademark comprehensiveness, reliability, and accessible, comforting one, this book is a must-have for all families who want to keep their children healthy and happy.

My Thoughts:
The Drs. Sears are back with this great new guide to childcare. No more guessing on your child's health. You'll have answers to most of your questions right here in this book. The Portable Pediatrician is easy to read and very helpful. This is a book to keep close by. Throughout the book, each pediatric problem and illness is written in a parent-helpful way that will teach you how to be watchful. This book will enable you to solve many common problems and also tell you when to enlist help from your own doctor. The topics have been arranged alphabetically according to the most common name to make it easy to find and they are very organized. I love this book and only wish I had it sooner, while my children were babies. Although, this is very helpful for children of all ages. This book would make a great gift!!
