Mamavation Monday

Mamavation
Today's Winter Break for my kids... So- Today, I was taking advantage of not having to get the kids up for school and I slept in!!! I would have slept even longer but my husband's friend called him and woke me up-so, I laid in bed being lazy until the dog started barking and I had to let him out. Nice Morning to sleep in!!
So- that being said, I didn't weigh in today. I like to weigh in at around the same time every morning and I already ate breakfast and stuff before I decided to get motivated. Well... The Motivation has been my problem for a while now. I Need Some!!
This brings me to today's Mamavation Blogging Carnival Question sponsored by Fit Studio.
The Question is: What motivates you to get going and what keeps you going?
My Answer is: ? Not Sure...My motivation has been slacking for a while now. I need to get back into the mood and get serious about my fitness goals. I need to get my drive back. I was dieting and lost weight before because I had a wedding and a school Reunion I wanted to look extra good for. I need to have someone light a match under my rear-end and help get that motivation back and Keep it. Who's up for this job?
I need to get this Motivation and Drive back soon! Summer is coming and I have a big birthday that I want to look great at.

*Disclosure: This post is sponsored by SEARS FitStudio and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway hosted by Mamavation and sponsored by Sears.*

yeah woman....dont you want to look hotter on that BIG bday than you did 20 years ago?!!! We need to try to beat each others scores at our wii games like we used to. When you get the new game let me know and we will have a weekly goal to see who can get the highest score on one of the specific workouts...and I gotta still workon getting as high of score on hula hoop as you...so get hula hooping you dont want me to beat you!

Have you done a vision board? Revisit your goals, remember what it is you want to achieve. Leave yourself reminders and set small goals. Maybe it is time to try out a new exercise like kettle balls or TRX? Find a girlfriend and see if your community offers a fitness dance class like Zumba. You can do this Shawn!

Find a goal that works for you..if the goal of losing weight has lost its charm, what about a different kind of challenge? Not DIY Heather posted a squat challenge she is doing, and I am looking at the pushup challege. Switching up your focus might give you a new motivation. Have a great week!

Colleen had a great idea. Make it fun! And a competition...that always lights a fire under my behind! :)
It's a new day and a new week. Don't beat yourself up for something you can't go back and change. Make different decisions THIS week. I believe in you! :)

It's hard when you don't know really what you're working for. Personally, I'm working for my kids. I want to be around when they have kiddos of their own. I want to be able to chase them around and keep up with them. If you need someone to poke you during the day, don't hesitate to ask.

I'm still trying to nail down my motivation since missing all my big events. Hopefully something closer to home will help get you back in a motivated mood. Good luck this week.

That's what we're here for - to help you find your motivation! Your goals may not be big, but they are IMPORTANT goals! Because they are for your health and the health of your family.

Hang in there!!

Motivation in winter is hard for me too! Maybe setting a goal and then telling all of us about it would light that match for you?
