I'm not looking to enter into culinary school but I thought that reading this book would shed some light and maybe I would learn something about cooking. This book is very intersting. Some things in the book I already knew, but I feel that I learned alot and hopefully I can use some of these tips and suggestions and put forth some more knowledge into my cooking. This book gives you illustrated lessons on different types of knives and what each one is used for. It goes on to tell you different ways to cut foods and goes in details on how to prepare food. I think that this is an easy read and has alot of details and facts.
