I start weeks before school starts with getting to bed on time, and getting up on time. If this works out easy, then sometimes there would be a movie or a fun night. Thanks.

One of my tips-
Get everything ready the night before, from clothes, breakfast to lunch packs.
They like Totino's with their fave Disney cartoons after school.

To make back to school easier, try to do as much the night before as you can. Lay out your child's clothes, pack lunch. Make sure you have time to sit and have breakfast with your child before taking him to school.

I would say get the kids in a routine of putting thier backpacks by the door when they are done with homework, and thier shoes.
waitressdani (at) hotmail (dot) com
I get a desk top calendar and we enter all the appts., after school activities, gym, band, etc. then we check it each day. The kids rarely forget anything this way, and I'm organized and less stressed.
They relax with Totinos and watch tv for 1/2 hour before they start their homework.

The night before we make sure the back packs and lunches are packed and their clothes are laid out which saves time in the morning.
What works for me is getting everything ready the night before. Notes written, clothes out, and lunches made. This way if we should be running late int he morning it is not as stressful getting everyone going.
