Mamavation Monday

Watch Lives Change

Monday Morning again... I weighed in this morning and I gained another pound. I know that the weekends get me. I'm pretty good all week, trying to eat healthy and get in my workouts then the weekend rolls around and I blow it. Then weigh-ins on Monday's really stink!!!
I have wanted to lose these extra 5 to 10 pounds and now... All I end up doing is gaining. I know- I have only myself to blame. I'm not motivated.. I can't keep using excuses about my back hurting or not having time- I just got to DO IT!!!
So-today I will make time to get in some exercise and eat healthy. I've gotta get out of this slump... I need to start up my old routine and use the Wiifit and do the EA Sports Active Workouts.
I also just bought the Zumba workout DVD's and need to do these too.
I know what I need to do... It's time to Do it!!!!
Next week, I will have better results and I'm hoping to start losing weight again and/or losing inches and looking more toned.

Let me know what you think about Zumba -- I've been wanting to try it!

I know -- the weekends are crazy; our Sundays are so busy with church, etc., that it's easy to just eat out or snack (badly) all day. We have to be INCREDIBLY conscious to plan for Sundays and not get caught up in the grazing/eat out mode.

Weekends were hard for me too. I took one meal from the weekend and made that my free meal. It was always Sunday night for me cause that was when we went to in-laws for dinner. Maybe looking forward to that one meal will help you. Think about it.

Weekends can be hard. I struggle there too. How about posting an accountability tweet when you feel like you are slipping. We're here for you!

At least you KNOW what your problem is now (weekends). Once you identify that, you can head on down the road to fixing it!

At least you know what it is you must do! I have heard really good things about the Zumba workout! Let me know how that goes.

I agree it's very tough on the weekends. Maybe you can treat yourself to something little one day on the weekend. Thats what I do. I follow a strict fitness and eating schedule during the weekend and work hard so that I can get that little extra something on the weekend. Good luck reaching your goals this week!

Good luck. Can you make this weekend coming up better than the past few? Really focus if that is your downfall. Also get to workin' out! Have a great week.

Hang in there Shawn! Each day is a fresh start and try to do one healthy thing each day even on weekends to get your motivation back. Those baby steps will add up :D
