I'd really love to win this book for my dad. :-) He's just a very nice and loving individual. He's always going the extra mile to just try to make us (his kids/wife/grandkids) all happy.

Thank you for the giveaway!

My Dad ... well, there's a lot that's special about him. Maybe one of the more "special" qualities he has is that he totally cares about his family and never hesitates to help. He is quick to offer and never asks anything in return. He's a great guy!

I follow. My dad wasn't the best dad when I was younger but he is a wonderful father now and a better dad than I could EVER have imagined.

I didn't see the manditory entry until after I did the others.
I would love to talk about my Dad. He died when I was 17 of a rare form a brain cancer, They tried everything, he survived a year longer than they expected but some of that time he didn't know us.
But my Dad was the best Dad on the planet. There's wasn't anything he wouldn't teach me or do for me. We played outside together, Base ball bought me my first mit, Soccer cause thats what he played. He helped in the snow make a huge igloo with my and my BFF, that we could both get in side it and walk to the top of it. He talk me how to dive correctly into the pool too. He was never short on love, hugs and Kisses. We were a really awesome family when we had my dad. There's so much more I'd love to say about him, but thats not the point really to give my life story. He was awesome, I just wish I'd gotten to know him as an adult to adult, I missed out of so much. It's been 20 yrs but I still wish he was here.

My Dad died so long ago. The thing I remember most he was always rolling his own cigerettes, the tabbaco was in a red can, was it price or St. something maybe.
When I was young He was strict, he let me date one boy when I was 16, and my Dad liked him and I wanted to have a new boyfriend but he wouldn't let me, I ended up married and 2 kids and then a divorce because my 1st husband was a real jerk. But my second husband was wonderful. So I guess life went the way it was suppose to.
