I made that New Year's Resolution for a Healthy Me! (That means losing weight, toning and eating healthy), pretty similar to many people starting off the New Year wanting to lose weight or get in better shape.

Now that, we are two weeks into the New Year and you either already cheated or are craving sweets, I have a better-for-you choice without sacrificing great taste!

This is the next Best Thing!!! I love it!! I love that it will help avoid messes in my laundry room. ( no detergent spills). I love that it is a pre-dosed! I think that using the UltraPacks will save me even more money. I know that my husband isn't good about measuring the right amount of laundry detergent when he does a load. (For some reason, he thinks more is better and in most cases, more just cost you more money! ) I love that these work just as great as the other Purex laundry detergents costing less than half the price of the leading detergent. I love that the packaging is so much smaller and I won't have all the detergent jugs to recycle.


For Best Results...

• Dry your hands before handling the UltraPacks – water dissolves the film.

• Put (1) pack in the washer before adding clothing (the more time they spend in the water, the faster they dissolve). For larger or heavily soiled loads, use an additional pack.

Mamavation Monday

Happy New Year!!!
It's time to make a New Years Resolution!!
(Ok.. I'm alittle late! Since Today is already the 9th of January.)
As most people want to include losing weight as their resolution... Mine is going to include a Healthy Me! A Healthy Family.

I am going to get back into my good habits by eating healthy and exercising. And my Husband is on game this time. He's been wanting to lose weight and wants to have a competition with me. (But- we are not on a fair playing field, since it's easier for men to lose weight than for women and I am not as overweight as he is.)

So, that said... I am starting the Mamavation Two Week Challenge. This is going to be challenging for me! I'm thinking the hardest part is giving up the Soda and I know that I will be sore but it is going to be a good start for me.

I took my measurements and weight this morning. I will tell you that I have gained back some weight that I lost about 2 years ago but I know that's because I eased back on my exercising and started eating junk again. I could tell by the way my clothes were fitting or I should say were not fitting. At my size, I can really notice those 10 to 15 pounds. I am determined again to lose this weight and tone up so that I look and feel better about myself.

I am going to see these results this year!! I love all the support that Mamavation gives to all of us, no matter if our weight lose goal is to lose 100 pounds or 10 pounds.

Bad Contractor

Unfortunately we hired the most worthless contractor to do renovations on our home in Glendale. He put on a good show at first and made us think he was really responsible and talented. After the contract was signed and money was paid we realized we made a bad mistake. He started showing up late every morning and things started to fall behind schedule almost immediately. We thought the project would take one month and it ended up taking three. The one good contribution he made was to recommend Glendale ADT Security for our home security needs. Otherwise I could have done without his work. I probably wouldn’t have been so dissatisfied with the schedule problems if I thought his work was up to par. I think for what we paid him we probably could have gotten a better quality job done. I’m not sure how long the work will hold up but I’m hoping for the best. Next time we need work done on our home we’re going to be way more careful than we were this time around.
