A Major Change has happened

This one is a Biggie!!!

I guess the time has come... I've been pretty lucky to have been a stay at home more for the past ten years!!!! I started coaching gymnastics again in the evenings and it was great for the past 6 years, but now that my kids are alittle older and have some much going on, I have been missing some of their activities. So, this was bittersweet for me, because I am going to miss coaching gymnastics. I'm going to miss the sport, my friends, the other coaches, the kids and their parents. I have known some of the kids and coached them since they were really little and I enjoyed watching them grow up and become great gymnasts. But, I need to be home in the evening with my family. I have been missing my children in the evening and their sports activities. This is why I decided to go back to work full time out of the house.

So, if you have noticed, I haven't written here lately, that is why. I'm trying to adjust to this new schedule of mine. My new job is going pretty good, but I'm not used to being gone from the house this long each day. I am going to have to start planning my posts better and get in a better routine. So far, I have managed to have my clothes ready, lunches packed, getting up early, getting ready for work, driving there, working all day and getting home. I have had dinner prepared or at least thought of. I was off to a good start.

Then the stomach bug visited our house. This was a nasty little bug that hit Connor first Tues. night then Kylee Thurs. night, Pete got it Friday and I managed to sleep it off. (So, I think!) I came home from work Friday and both kids and hubby were home sick. I skipped dinner and went striaght to bed. Then Saturday, I had to work over-time, go to Connor's basketball game then came home and went to bed early. I'm not sure if I was so tired from this bug or from not used to working so much. But, anyways, I'm doing good and this week will be much better. I am going to make time to exercise in the mornings and if that doesn't work out, I will have to make the time in the evenings. Also, I have to find time to keep up on the house work. I'm hoping that the kids and hubby can help me out there. I'm thinking that I will need to enforce that chore list and have everyone pitch in.

Congrts on the new job! Everything will work out fine. I had been wondering where you had gone but figured you might be taking a short break.

Glad to see you back- get some 'me' time in and enjoy yourself too!
