This is my First Book Review

This story is one we received from the Thomas Nelson Book Review blogger program.
http://brb.thomasnelson.com/

This children's book,"The Wackiest,Wildest,Weirdest Animals in the World" by Jack Hanna, is all about different animals. This book contains beautiful photos of the animals taken by Rick A. Prebeg. I think that children of all ages would really enjoy this book. This book will teach any reader interesting facts about thirty different animals. You will learn Wacky facts about animals like the Blue-footed Booby and the Binturong. You will learn what makes a Black Rhinoceros and a Lion Wild. You will learn about what makes the Armadillo and the Okapi Weird. This book is a great size and each page has many large, colorful, and exciting pictures that will interest and keep your child's attention. You will find many intersting facts like where these animals live, what they eat and how big they get. If this wasnt enough, this book also comes with a Dvd that includes bloopers from Jack Hanna's Into the Wild. I would really recommend this book for children interested in animals.
(Parents reading this may enjoy and learn something new too)

Fitness Friday

I'm back... Last Friday was so busy.. I had to go to school for the kids activities and then the day flew right by. The week flew too. So, here it is Friday again. I am feeling pretty good. My BMI is 23.11 now & I'm at 135. I've lost alittle weight this week and I'm starting to look pretty good. I still want to lose alittle more (5-10 pounds would be great!!) My BMI Goal is 22 and I'm starting to get closer. I'm not too concerned about the weight part -I know muscle weighs more & I just want to be toned. And I'll have to say I'm getting there. I am getting pretty active and I feel better. I am Happy with my efforts --These last pounds are coming off alot slower though. I am increasing my work-outs. I finally beat my high score on the 10 minute Hula hoop-I got 3503 spins. Yeah me!!! I just got the EaSports Active Game for my Birthday this weekend. Thanks to my parents!!! I started the 30-Day Challenge on Monday. I've only done it for 5 days & 3 workouts. I did it on Monday & Tuesday then Wednesday was my rest day & I had to take an extra day off on Thursday(ran out of time) so it's Friday & I've done 3 workouts. I wish that you burned more calories in a shorter period of time but I guess you can if you do preset routines. I'm going to stay with the challenge but today I worked out alittle extra. I think that the upperbody workout with the arms, shoulders & back is good for me. I haven't used this game enough to give my opinion on it yet. I think that some of the exercises I like and some are ok. I will see next week as I use it more. Until than... Have a nice Weekend And Happy Father's Day.

Fitness Friday

I'm participating in the Fitness Friday posts but really don't have too much to report. I've pretty much slowed down. I will report that my BMI's 23.52 & I'm 137 today. I really don't feel any progress as to weight loss. I feel more like I'm stuck right now. I still would like to loss 10 more pounds and it's going very SLOW. My BMI's Normal but the wiifit tells me my healthy BMI should be 22.02 so I still have a way to go. I'm trying to be more careful and I'm paying more attention to my calorie intake and my calories burned. Boy- I didn't realize it takes alot of exercise to burn those calories. I have started to increase my workouts on the Wiifit to 45 minutes 5 days a week. That's 15 more minutes a day, than what I've been doing. I've been working harder this week and
I have change my workout around. I will keep trying I would just like to see more than 1 pound a week. I have eaten ice cream -the Reese Klondike Bars. They are good too. I counted that more as my lunch and ate healthy the rest of time. I am going to switch to Fudge Pops-they will get rid of my chocolate craving and they have like 40-60 calories depending of which ones you get. They are good too. I just wish I didn't like food. Oh well. I will continue my workouts and hopefully lose these extra pounds. Stick With it...
