Certain Dri Review and Giveaway

Certain Dri is the number one over-the-counter antiperspirant recommended by doctors for treating excessive perspiration. New to the Certain Dri line of antiperspirant products is Certain Dri Solid, equally effective and specially-formulated for those with sensitive skin. While other over-the-counter antiperspirants claim to be “clinical strength” and “waterproof” the Certain Dri formulations – 12% aluminum chloride and 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate - are the strongest available, providing 72-hours of protection with each application.
Certain Dri ® Solid Anti-Perspirant is effective for reducing excessive underarm perspiration (axillary hyperhidrosis), as well as for occasional, excessive perspiration due to stress, heat, sports, occupation, etc.  Because of the therapeutic ingredients/formulation, Certain Dri® Solid Anti-Perspirant is applied sparingly at bedtime.  This allows it to work overnight.  It will not wash off after bathing/showering in the morning. In many cases, users will discover that it will not be necessary to apply Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant every night to control their perspiration problem. It can be used in conjunction with the new daily deodorant, Certain Dri® A.M. Underarm RefresherTM or another morning-applied deodorant of your choice.

I didn't follow the directions when I first tried this Certain Dri solid. It says to apply in the evening) I put this on as deodorant in the morning and didn't need to reapply deodorant in the evening after sweating and coaching Gymnastics for 4hours. Wow!! I thought, this worked really good. I usually need to reapply deodorant a few times during the day, especially before going to the gym. Then I read the instructions and it says to put this on in the evening, so I did that and noticed in the morning before showering that I didn't even feel like I was sweaty or needed to use deodorant. I have used this a few times in the past week and I think that I have not been using as much deodorant and don't feel sweaty even after exercising and alot of activity. I am going to let my hubby try this and really put it to the test. He seems to sweat and smell alot more than I do. (LOL) I think the real test will be in the summertime, while he is outside in the heat working. I'm glad to have this in hopes to control his perspiration and odor.

This is available in mass market retail, supermarkets and drug stores nationwide, as well as via online retailers and at www.certaindri.com. Suggested retail price for the 1.7 ounce solid stick is $5.50 - $5.99, almost 40% less than the other clinical strength antiperspirant products.

This a new alcohol-free, germ protection spray that you can immediately use on your face when exposed to harmful pathogens. The non-toxic, non-burning spray contains a fast-acting solution that has shown to reduce more than 60 potentially dangerous germs, including MRSA, staph and E-coli*.

Why It’s Unique: MyClyns is the only germ defense for use in the eyes, nose and mouth – offering protection where you need it most – common entry points for most germs. It is a compact, non-aerosol pump spray shaped like a pen and easy to slip into a pocket, baby bag, purse or carry-on (meets airline restrictions) for everyday use and when traveling. MyClyns is safe to spray directly onto the face and even onto open cuts and abrasions. It’s safe for people of all ages, even those who wear contact lenses. While many other germ sanitizers are good for prevention, MyClyns is designed to be used after the unexpected incident occurs –so if a person sitting in front of you or next to you coughs or sneezes, simply take out your MyClyns and spray 2-3 mists on your face and you’re good to go. Each vial has approximately 60 mists and can be thrown out when it’s empty.

MyClyns is trusted and used by hospitals and first responders, whose contact with germs is often extreme. This is now being made available to consumers to be the perfect complement to hand sanitizers as part of a complete germ-fighting routine. MyClyns, is sold at CVS stores nationwide along with other chain stores for suggested retail price ranging from $7.99 to $9.99. Consumers can stay up to date on the latest from MyClyns, including availability in stores by fanning them on Facebook .
*Independent laboratory tests have shown that the solution in MyClyns demonstrates a 99.99% reduction in more than 60 potentially dangerous pathogens. I have not yet tried this product. But, I have this in my purse next to my hand sanitizer and I plan on using this to protect myself and my children from germs.

One of My Lucky Readers can win Myclyns personal germ protection spray.

Savvy Shopping Tips & Money Saving Ideas

Twittermoms and Staples are having a contest. They want Bloggers to post their Savvy Shopping Tips, Money Saving Ideas , Top Gift Ideas and Time Saving Tips. So of course, I decided to join in. You can too and possibly win prizes.
My Number One Shopping Tip and Money Saving Idea is to Hit all the Deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I have a list of ideas and gifts that I would like to purchase. Then I look at the ads and find the best price for that product and shop there. I am not a one store shopping Gal. I look around at all the ads and find out who's having the best price for that item. Why would you want to spend more money? when you can get it cheaper eleswhere. Also, I keep in mind that some stores meet competitor's prices and I use coupons too. I keep my receipts too and if I just bought a certain item and I find it for a better price a week later than if the savings is worth the time to exchange and re-buy it, then I will do that.
I like to buy extra gifts when I get them on sale or pay little to nothing for them. These gift ideas include Chocolate, Nuts, Body Lotions, Etc. These make cute little gifts for Teachers, Bus Drivers, Mail Carriers, neighbors, friends or co-workers. These can be used alone or with another gift depending on who this is for and how much You can afford to give.
There are many great gifts that You can give that come from the heart. This Year, My Daughter and I are making some gifts. These Gifts are very special because they are made with Love. It doesn't matter the price of the gift, It's the Thought that counts. I make Cookie Trays and Edible Gifts for many of my Friends and they just Love them and look forward to them year after year. Although, I try to change it up abit, so its not the same gift as last year.
If money is tight and You want a more personal gift, make up a gift certificate offering a service. Examples include House Cleaning, Cooking, Baby/Pet Sitting, Handyman services. Even the children can do this, examples washing dishes, helping dad clean the garage, etc.
I like to give Photo gifts, including framed pictures of the kids, photobooks and scapbooks. I think these make a great gift especially for the Grandparents.
To save money on wrapping expenses, I take advantage of the free gift wrapping that some stores offer. Otherwise, I buy my wrapping paper on sale. The best time to buy wrapping paper is a few days after Christmas when the stores mark it down to 75-90% off, then I stock up. This saves You alot of money. I also, take advantage of the free boxes that some stores offer. I like to buy my gift bags and tissue paper at the Dollar Store. I hope I have given you some good tips and ideas. Wishing All of You a Merry Christmas and Happy Shopping!!!

Totally Toned Arms ~Book Giveaway

PhotobucketOnce Barack Obama joined the presidential race and attended events with wife at his side, the media, bloggers, and people everywhere started buzzing about Michelle's toned arms--and asking how on earth she does it. Even at the Presidential Inauguration, much of the talk was about Michelle's amazing arms. Media outlets from GMA to CNN to MSNBC have covered the story, inspiring women across the country to call their personal trainers and say, "I want Obama arms!"

Certified personal trainer Rylan Duggan, creator of the successful (and pricey, at $70 each!) e-book series Go Sleeveless!, constantly gets calls from clients and reporters asking for the training secrets behind Michelle's arms. Duggan is the expert quoted in much of this coverage, and in FIGHT ARM FLAB, he offers his 21-day program to get those sleek and sexy arms.

In this low-priced paperback, Duggan reveals the program (combining strength training and cardio) including a 7-day jumpstart maintenance plan, and essential diet secrets designed to shed fat and reveal toned muscle, plus 50-60 black and white photos throughout to illustrate. This is a simple program that anyone can do, no matter what their fitness level, at home and with little equipment. With this series of 25 easy exercises, anyone can have Obama arms--in a matter of weeks!

I know I want Totally Toned Arms!!! I will be getting this book soon, I will be doing a review and hopefully getting Totally Toned Arms(Great looking firmer Arms).

Would You Like to Win Your Own Copy? Hatchette Book Group has generously offered Five copies of Totally Toned Arms to five of my lucky readers.

My Favorite Holiday Activities

To celebrate the premiere of Dora’s Christmas Carol, Nickelodeon and TwitterMoms want us to share our favorite holiday activities we like to do with our kids! You can join the contest too. Information is found here

My Favorite Holiday activities always include my children. We always Go to Church and spend the Holidays with our Loved ones. Here are some of our Activities we like to do:

#1 We Love to Pick out and cut down our own Christmas Tree. Then we bring it home and after its up and the lights are on, The children help to decorate the tree. They love to put their own oraments on. I usually buy them one each year that has their name and the year on it. I started this when they were a baby and they really enjoy it. Now, its a Tradition.

#2 We love to make and decorate cookies. My children help more now that they're getting older. They can help measure the ingredients and make the dough. Then we cut out them and bake them Of course, they love to help with the frosting and decorate all the cookies. But, I think they love to eat them the most.

#3 We like to go see Santa and have our Pictures taken. (Now- that they are not scared of Santa, they usually tell him what they are wishing for)

#4 We like to play in the snow. We have snowball fights, we love to make snowmen and we always go sliding. Sometimes the kids do this more by themselves too but I always make sure that I do it a few times over the winter with them.

#5 We like to go shopping and buy presents for each other. This year, we have started to make some nice Christmas presents for our Family and friends. The children always like to help wrap the gifts too.

#6. We love to watch all the Christmas movies. There are so many Good ones playing on tv and at the movie theaters. A family favorite is the Polar Express, I think we have been watching this one every year since this came out.
Remember to watch Dora’s Christmas Carol premiere on Nickelodeon on 12/6 @ 8PM EST!

Of course, we have many other activities that we love to do during the holiday season and I can't wait to do all these fun things .
Enjoy your Holidays with your children!!!

My Black Friday Attack Plans

Buyers beware: Black Friday is not for the faint of heart! Only serious shoppers ready to brave the bargain battlefield will survive on this biggest shopping day of the year. But if you count yourself among the legions of die-hard shoppers, Target and TwitterMoms want to know! What is your Black Friday plan of attack this year?

Yes!!! I do go shopping on Black Friday. You may think I'm crazy and maybe I am. But I always have an Attack Plan before I go. I have been looking at the black friday online scans and deals but I just consider that a preview. I get the Paper on Thursday, and look at all the ads. The kids like to make a wish list then too.
Then I decide what is the best deal or deals that I want to get. That usually decides where and at what time I'll be going shopping. I try to make a list of what I want to get and at what store and cut out any coupons. I did see that at some stores, they have an online map of where certain products will be. I think I will be checking that out. Usually I go shopping with my Mom and Aunt, its good to have a cell phone especially to find out where they are. I don't want to waist any time looking around the store for them. Another thing I noticed and have found to be helpful is to have one person get in line after you get the most important items. Then it helps to have a shopping partner and have them get extra items or what they wanted while someones already in line. Last year, I got in the electronic line and that one went way faster. It helps to split up and go in different directions if you're shopping with a partner. My shopping parnters and I usually know what each other wants and we each go to a different dept. and then meet up later.
One thing I wish everyone would remember is to be patient and curtious. I don't think that it's neccessary to push and shove or be Rude. I like to get good buys and I don't think that any item is to dye for. I think that people need to be ready to wait in line and remember not to budge. Usually there is security and they don't allow that.
One Thing that I think is helpful is to not carry a large purse. It's much easier to have cash or credit card ready to cash out and will make the lines go faster for everyone.
If you don't like the crowds and can't get out shopping on Friday, then check out all the deals and shop Cyber Monday.

Thanksgiving Traditions

Family and friends, delicious food, and football all day long - what’s not to like about Thanksgiving? Kick off the holiday season by gathering with your loved ones and celebrating the most cherished blessings in your life. Our friends at Target thought it would be fun to get TwitterMoms thinking about… "What three favorite family Thanksgiving traditions have you passed or will pass on to your children?"

I just asked my daughter and she said " WE EAT TURKEY"
Gotta love it!!!
(I Hope I teach her more than that!!!)

Here's My Families Traditions:
~ The kids and I usually Sleep in. Daddy's gone off hunting for that Big Buck. My Mom and Dad usually already have the homemade dressing made and the Turkey stuffed, before we show up to their house. Then, I'll help Mom peeling potatoes, making salad and whatever elese needs to be done for the great dinner.
~ We like to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
~ We all eat an Awesome Dinner together. This is great having the Family together. Except we are usually missing my sister and her family that lives out of state.
~ After all the clean up is done, we usually sit around and watch football and take a nap. A large Turkey dinner always makes me tired.
~ We eat dessert. Of course Pumpkin pie and my favorite Cheesecake.
~ Mom and I look over all the Ads and figure out our shopping plans for Black Friday. We like to go early and get the deals. (The kids like to look at the ads and pick out all the toys they are dreaming of getting.
~ Usually off to bed early( If luckly)

These are some family traditions that we do. Most Importantly we spend the day with our family and Thank God for all the gifts in our lives.
My Favorite Three Traditions would include: #1 Eating Dinner Together,#2 Taking a nap while watching the Macy's Day parade or football and #3 looking through all the ads and planning our Black Friday shopping day.

I'm Wishing All of You a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Time Out for ThetaMom Thursday

It’s Time Out for Theta Mom Thursday! The goal is to grab one hour of time within one week to do whatever you want…without the kids. It’s such an amazing proposition, I know so I thought I would join in. I really like the concept and everyone participating is so nice :)
So, This week I .....
I went to the Orthopedic specialist on Tuesday for my shoulder and he told me that I should get corizone injections. I guess that I will deal with the pain right now and wait a few more weeks and see if the Physical therapy helps. I've heard that the shots are painful and I'm not sure that I'm in that much pain to get one right now. I really didn't do anything too exciting this week. I guess I'm pretty boring.
I will be spending more time with the kids this week as they have a half day of school today and none tomorrow. I have parent/teacher conferences and get their report cards tomorrow.
Let's see if I can do something more fun next week.

Top Three Green Living Tips

I'm not the Green Expert by any means, but like you I am trying to "Go Green".
My top three Green Living tips are pretty easy ones.

Tip#1: Turn Off and Unplug:
When you're not in a room there's no need to keep the lights on or electronic devices plugged in. By flipping the switch to off, you will save some money. Also you will be reducing your family's exposure to electromagnetic radiation, and you will be saving energy and carbon dioxide emissions. You can start tonight!!!
(Also, some appliance left plugged in are a fire danger-know fact!)

Tip#2:Change your light bulbs
Switch out the light bulbs in your house to energy-efficient, inexpensive compact fluorescent bulbs. This will save you money on your electric bill. If every household in America exchanged five light bulbs, the energy savings would be equivalent to taking 8 million cars off the road.

Tip#3: Reuse and Recycle
Cutting down on waste can save 4.4 pounds of garbage a day, that's 1,600 pounds a year. Buy reuseable stainless bottles and use and wash your dishes to stop the waste of paper/plastic products. Plastic water bottles take an estimated 1,000 years to break down in nature. Also, I like to use the reusable shopping bags to reduce the plastic ones. Recycle your papers, glass, plastic and cans. In my home town, we have recycling laws in place.(But people don't always abid by them) Also, we have deposit and returnable soda, beer cans and water bottles. Some states haven't gotten to this law yet.

We all can start by taking small steps. For more Green Living tips please visit Beth Aldrich "The Green Mom" to help make the world a greener place. Also check out how to turn your eyes green with Airwear lenses.

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This is my First Time participating in this. I have read some of the others and laughed a bit to realize that I have not done any of that stuff. LOL

I did not stay up late reading blogs and entering contests this week. And then wonder why I was tired. I did not throw my newly washed and dried clothes on my bed to fold later. And my husband did not throw them in a pile on our bedroom floor and my daughter did not wonder where her favorite pair of jeans was.

I did not run out of time on Saturday to make sure my house was spotless. While people where over (luckily outside) I did not run through the house quick and close my bedroom door to hide the mess just in case they wanted to come inside.

Well... I could be here all day and I better get to that housecleaning I did not run out of time to do.

Pretty Please Press Books Review & Giveaway

pretty please press
About Pretty Please Press:

Pretty Please Press
publishes children's books that are designed to be read aloud and talked about. Each book contains a message about character and values that helps parents and children think and talk about a variety of issues. Pretty Please Press was founded in 2001 by author Laura Aimee Garn, and is now led by publisher Vera Venturi.

Pretty Please Press was created with the idea that reading to your children will help establish good communication between parents and children. Many education and parenting experts stress that reading to or with children is one of the most important things parents can do to make sure kids stay on the right track. Reading together during elementary school years helps parents and children bond as a family. Opening up lines of communication with kids early in life will encourage them to talk to you later, when big "character issues" arise. In addition, they provide free educational downloads including Vocabulary Building Cards, Concept Building Cards, and Character Building Lesson Plans.

Currently Pretty Please Press has 20% off the list price for their books purchased through their site as well as "buy 3 get 1 free offer".

phynx
Pynx
Written and illustrated by Jeffrey Greene

About the Book:
In a distant galaxy, on a very colorful planet, a brilliant purple Pynx settles into her new home in the jungle. But her noisy arrival upsets the other fanciful creatures who are already living there quite happily. When the Pynx expands her family with dozens of new babies, her neighbors are very upset. The very vocal Pynx has had this problem before, but this time, with a little luck, she finds a real home. This is a story about being tolerant, learning to appreciate differences, and about finding ways to communicate.

My Review:
The character building theme in this book is Tolerance. This is a cute story about a purple Pynx that is quite annoying to the other creatures in the jungle where she lives. The other creatures don't understand her and they find her to be annoying. This book helps you understand that even though we are not all the same we can learn to communicate and get along with others. This is a great lesson to learn and through this story I feel that children can understand things better.

kick block
Kick Block Punch
Written and illustrated by Jacquie Hann

About the Book:
Sam arrives at his first karate class all ready to receive his black belt. To his surprise, he has a lot to learn about karate, and there are many other belts to earn before he attains the rank of black belt. With the help of his patient instructor, he learns how to work hard toward his goal and to master this new skill. This story shows that patience and practice are important when we are approaching a new challenge.

My Review:
In this book, the character building skill is setting goals. This is great lesson that children need to learn. I love how this story shows you that by working hard and practicing, you can achieve your goals. Sam thought he knew everything about karate and found out that had alot to learn. (This sounds alot like children I know). This story teaches you alittle about karate, which I feel will keep the children interested in reading, while also learning that you have to be responsible and work hard by practicing to success. Sam ends up earning a yellow belt and is working hard to make his goal of being a black belt in karate. I think that my son will really enjoy me reading this book to him. I really like the idea of being able to download free flash cards and lesson plans to go along with this story. I think that any teacher would really like these books, as they are fun stories to read and yet they can incorporate character building lessons.

Thank You to Pretty Please Press for the complimentary books for review and giveaway!

The Scritchy Little Twitchell Sisters Review

scritchy

The Scritchy Little Twitchell Sisters
By Laura Aimee Garn
Illustrated by Erik Brooks

About the Book:
Lavinia and Emmeline Twitchell look like perfect little angels, but their behavior is anything but angelic! They squabble constantly, and their poor parents suffer in a noisy, divided household. When the girls are "discovered" by a creative vaudeville producer, their spectacular fights become entertainment, and they are launched on a glamorous career. Battles may be part of growing up with a sister, but it helps to look at them with humor. The Twitchell Sisters demonstrate that someday the fights may yield to understanding and appreciation.

My Review:
I really love this concept of character building themed books. In this story, the theme is resolving conflicts. Any girl who has a sister will understand and enjoy this book. I have two sisters and we used to fight just like these sisters did. Our fights might not have been this bad, or about the same things, but we did fight. Even though we used to fight with one another we still loved and cared for each other. Just like in this story. I like how this was written and I feel that anyone can learn from this lesson. My daughter doesn't have a sister but she fights with her brother sometimes and I think she can relate to this story. I really want my children to read this book. What eles I really like from Pretty Please Press books is that you can download free concept building cards and lesson plans to go along with their books. This is a great option for parents and teachers.

My Review:
I really liked this book. I loved how cute the illustrations are. This book is full of an inspiration. I like the message of dedication and preserverance. This story lets you know that all things are possible but you need to work hard to achieve your goals. I think this is a great book for adults to read to younger children and remind them that with determination they can do anything, even if they are told they can't. I think that the older children would enjoy reading this book also. This would be a great story for teachers to read to their classes and they can get character building lesson plans to go along. This would make a great gift.

My Review
I started to use this, as soon as I felt a cold sore coming on. I used this ointment about 3 or 4 times a day. This ointment has a greenish color look in the tube but goes on clear. It had a soothing feeling and did not tingle or burn my lips. I have to say that within 3 days my cold sore was completely gone. I'm not sure if this ointment will work that good all the time, but I sure love how quick this worked for this cold sore that I had just gotten this time. I am surely going to use this again. I have never had such good results in this amount of time and I have used prescription creams before. This is definetally a product that I will be recommending to my family and friends. This ointment costs way less than any other products I have purchased before and this first time I used it, I had the best results than I have ever had.

OraMoist Review and Giveaway

Giveaway now Closed. Congrats to Michelle

OraMoist, is a breakthrough dry mouth treatment disc that has been specially developed to alleviate parched, dry mouth, lock in moisture for hours and restore a healthy oral environment. This is can be used for children five years of age and for adults.

OraMoist is a small, tablet sized dry mouth treatment disc that adheres to the roof of the mouth or the inner cheek. The disc slowly dissolves, releasing natural ingredients that moisten the mouth. In most cases, the disc fully dissolves in 2 to 4hours, and some people report that it lasts overnight.

OraMoist: An Effective Dry Mouth Treatment
OraMoist was recently compared to the leading dry mouth rinse in a study conducted at a leading University. The results? OraMoist created more moisture, significantly reduced discomfort and was chosen by more participants as the product they'd use again.

Do You Need a Dry Mouth Treatment ?
Dry mouth can be caused by aging, certain illnesses, medications or lifestyle factors. Symptoms that call for a dry mouth treatment include a sticky, dry feeling in the mouth, frequent thirst, sores in the mouth; sores or split skin at the corners of the mouth, cracked lips, a dry feeling in the throat, a burning or tingling sensation in the mouth, and a dry, red, raw tongue. Dry mouth is a common side effect of many prescription and non-prescription drugs.

I was suffering from dry mouth and tried this out. I followed the directions and found this easy to use. The disc released over time and left my mouth feeling much more moist. This says it has a natural fruit flavor- I really didn't notice the flavor much. I will use this again when I need to.

You can purchase OraMoist online or at most Rite-Aid Drug stores.
They sell for 1 Box, 16 discs Your Online Price $9.99

Better Yet: One of my Lucky Readers can win a box containing 16 discs

Veteran's Day-November 11th

a Pictures, Images and Photos
Salute to Our Nation's Heroes - Veteran's Day honors the courage and patriotism of all men and women who have served in the United States armed forces. In 1919, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11, Armistice Day; it became a national holiday in 1938. Congress changed the name to Veteran's Day in 1954 and President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the bill into law, "to honor veterans . . . a day dedicated to world peace."

11/11/11 Tradition - In 1921, an unknown World War I American soldier was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, the nation's highest place of honor. These memorial services took place on November 11, which was the anniversary of World War I's end, and were observed at 11:00 a.m - the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month

Throughout the country, observances are held in the form of prayer services, rallies, parades, patriotic speeches, assemblies, and grave-side flag displays.
Our local city held a parade this past Saturday in honor of all the Veterans.
I was unable to attend this but I would like to Say Thank You and Honor All of Our Veteran's today. I support our Troops and I'm praying for each and everyone of You.

My Review:
I think that any horse lover would enjoy collecting the Bella Sara products. These cards have such bright detailed pictures of many different horses. My daughter opened the trading card pack and went off to the computer to play the online games. She really had fun and played for quite awhile. She really didn't need any help from me. (She's 11) This is recommended for ages 5-13. I felt comfortable letting her play online knowing this is a safe site. I personally think that these interest the girls more than the boys. Although my nephew who's 8, a horse owner and lover, enjoys collecting these cards and the online play too. I just think that they need to make more of these trading cards less feminine to interest more boys. But if you love horses, then I feel that these Bella Sara products would make a great collection. I think that these Trading card packs would be great stocking stuffers or a nice gift.

**Disclosure** I received two sets of Bella Sara trading cards for free to review from Dittoe Public Relations.

PreHistin Giveway

This Giveaway is now Closed. Congrats to Heartsnflowers72atgmaildotcom
PreHistin® is the “World’s First Pre-Histamine.” Histamines are responsible for creating the chemical reactions in your body which trigger sneezing, nasal congestion, and runny nose. Most products on the market are “anti-histamine” drugs, which means they attack the histamines after they are released, but often leave you feeling drowsy for hours. PreHistin® is a pre-histamine” which means it regulates the release of histamine. By regulating the histamine release, your body may not overreact to foreign substances. PreHistin® was clinically shown to effectively maintain healthy IgE levels which have been linked to allergy symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, and runny nose. PreHistin® is a scientific breakthrough that will help regulate your response to allergens. PreHistin® takes advantage of the latest research to regulate the release of histamine which is related to annoyances such as sneezing, nasal congestion, and runny nose.
Best of all, PreHistin® is effective for both indoor and outdoor allergens!
PreHistine® provides a safe, non-sedating alternative to powerful antihistamines that can often cause unwanted drowsiness and other uncomfortable effects.
PreHistin® is in a class of its own, literally creating an entirely new approach to regulating normal response to allergens for seasonal and year-round allergy sufferers .
PreHistin® is safe and easy to use. This is recommended for Adults and children 12 years of age and older. For best results, simply dissolve one cherry flavored lozenge under your tongue and swallow, twice a day for 30 days.
PreHistin® helps build up your immune system and has been shown to keep working for weeks after you stop taking it. For best results, continue taking it throughout the season. You can begin taking PreHistin® at any time, but it takes several weeks to see optimal results since PreHistin® works by rebalancing your immune system to maintain normal response to allergens. Bear Portraits Review

About the Book:
A top celebrity portrait photographer, Jill
Greenberg has a unique ability to coax powerful emotions out of her subjects -whether human or animal. Her portraits of bears, collected here for the first
time, surprise and engage. We encounter cubs as cute as a child's Teddy, grizzlies that look like they might swallow you whole, and Polar bears seated in Sphinx-like tranquility.

Full-grown brown bears, grizzlies, black bears,Polar bears, and bear cubs are photographed on location against a portrait backdrop. The poses and facial expressions are at turns oddly comedic, pensive, terrifying, and sometimes unexpectedly human. Alive with Greenberg's signature lighting and seen through the unique perspective of her lens, these startling bear portraits bring us face to face with our fears and fantasies.

My Review:
This is a wonderful tribute to bears. This book is full of stunning portraits of the many different kinds of bears. There are pictures of the bear cubs and mature bears. These portraits are of gentle calm bears and also of the growling fierce bear. These portraits show so much detail. Along with these portraits, there are some quotes (about bears) by various famous people and authors. In this book there is a Who's Who Page that tells about each bear used in the book. These pages give you the bears name, the type of bear, height, weight, where each bear is from and any credits the bear has. Some of these bears have been seen in movies, magazines or featured on tv.
I really liked how you can see the cute 4 month old bear,Amos weighing only 40 pounds and then also see Koda the 9 foot 1600 pound bear.
I really enjoyed this book and think this would make a wonderful gift for the young or old and sepecially for the bear lovers.

Seven: The Number for Happiness, Love, and Success
Author:Jacqueline Leo

Full Description From Website:

What is it about the number seven that has such a hold on us? Why are there seven deadly sins? Seven days of the week? Seven wonders of the world, seven colors of the spectrum, seven ages of man, and seven sister colleges? Why can we hold seven numbers or words in our working memory--but no more? Author Jackie Leo explores everything about this mystical, magical, useful, and fun number in her new book.

SEVEN REASONS YOU NEED THIS BOOK

1. SEVEN is a tool to improve the quality of your life. It is a way to define time, synthesize ideas, and keep your mind performing at top speed in an era of distractions.

2. SEVEN is culturally significant. It pops up everywhere, structuring our world in ways so fundamental, we notice them only when we pause to look. Across the ages and across cultures, the number has acquired a huge scientific, psychological, and religious significance.

3. SEVEN is intriguing. Why, out of hundreds of recipes in a cookbook, do people return to the same seven, over and over? Why, when asked to choose a number between one and ten, does such a large majority of people choose seven? Why does it take seven rounds of shuffling to obtain a fully mixed deck of cards?

4. SEVEN is influential. You'll learn how the number seven shapes our thinking, our choices, and even our relationships.

5. SEVEN is practical. Throughout this book are Top Seven lists covering the best ways to get someone's attention, to build your personal brand, and to put yourself in the path of prosperity and good luck.

6. SEVEN is fun. You'll encounter surprising facts, intriguing puzzles, and hilarious anecdotes.

7. SEVEN is wise. You'll hear stories about the meaning of seven from Mehmet Oz, Sally Quinn, Liz Smith, Christina Ricci, and many others.

Fitness Friday

I have been soooo BAD!!!! I haven't been doing much exercising lately. I've been pretty lazy. I need someone to Kick my Butt!!! Before I gain back this weight. I need to get motivated NOW!!! The Holiday's are coming and I love to Eat.
I am alittle diappointed :( My Wii has been acting up the last week or So. This is the Good News- My Mom had purchased us the Wii for Christmas last year and she paid $39.99 at BestBuy to get the extended warranty. So-I called them and they wanted to see my Wii. I brought it there and they gave me brand new one!!! Yeah...(The only thing is-now we had to pay $39.99 to buy another 2 year warranty even though we still had a year left(they said this is a one-time return and then the warranty is void) So....The Bad news- I lost all my information on the Wiifit/Plus Game SO I have to start all over and unlock everything. And I haven't played even one minute yet. I'm really bummed!!! But I guess this way ~We'll see how much time I spend on the wii. I really love hula hooping and stuff, I just need to get back into my routine. So....
Here's my Promise*Starting Monday~No Excuses: I will be doing the Wiifitplus. I need to get back into my rountine. I need to lose 5 more pounds. And I need to cut back on my eating junk.

Angels Pop Up Book Review and Giveaway

Do you believe in Angels? I do and nearly 75% of Americans believe in angels, according to a recent survey by the Pew Forum. Whether you consider angels to be , spiritual guides, divine messengers or the stuff of legend, they are around in today’s world. It has been this way for thousands of years, since the earliest recorded drawings. Angels have mystified and inspired humanity, as showcased in all forms of artistic expression.(Usually we see or think of Angels as humans with wings)
In this breathtaking book by Author, Chuck Fischer he brings to life the most captivating stories of these celestial beings. Fischer’s original art is inspired by classic images from art history and is crafted into astoundingly intricate pop-ups made in collaboration with master paper engineer Bruce Foster.
Angels is divided into three sections: Messengers, A Hierarchy of Angels, and Secular Angels. More than one hundred original illustrations fill the pages of this book, featuring angels from different cultures and traditions around the world dancing to life in three-dimensional tableaux and movable parts. This book is brimming with full-color images and narrative booklets that tells the stories of these angels.

My Review
Wow!!! This is a Beautiful book. I've heard that saying "You can't judge a book by its cover" Well...This book is just as beautiful as its cover. I was amazed when I received this book. It is just breathtaking. I love all the bright and beautiful pages. The artwork is amazing. When you turn the pages, the images just pop out and come to life. You can really learn from this book, the narrative booklets have so much information. This is not a children's book, although children will love to look at this, but they need to use care. These pages pop out with so much detail that you wouldn't want them to rip or ruin this book.
This book would make a beautiful Christmas gift for anyone and especially for those Angel lovers.

My bedroom ends up being part of the laundry room, extra storage room, the hide your junk in room. This has got to end. I need to get more organized and have a more presentable room. I'm not going to show you any pictures, that would just be embarrassing to me.(Just picture...clothes all over the bed waiting to be folded, boxes on the floor next to the closet, etc)
Oh the options. There are so many cool and neat things over at VisionBedding.com, I could dream all day as to how my bedroom could look. I love all there stuff. I never knew you could have personalized photo blankets. I love all the wall muruals, especially this one. Wow, Now I am dreaming of the possibilities. I could be here all day...

Drinks for the Seasons

Drinks for the Seasons? This is the Question. Depending on what season we are in, we all like to drink something different or special. I'm kind of plain when it comes to drinks. I love my Diet Coke!!! I don't drink much alcohol but I do like to have an Amaretto Sour occasionally. In the Summer, I love a nice fresh sqeezed glass of lemonade, in the fall I like a glass of Apple Cider,at Christmas time I like to drink Eggnog. My husband likes to drink Beer all year long. What about You? Do you have a favorite drink ?
To celebrate the arrival of our favorite season and the wonderful drinks that come with it, Lenox and TwitterMoms want to know what your favorite drink of the season is, how you make it, and – most importantly – how you present it?
So, Here's mine. I love Hot Chocolate all winter long. It's always better when you top it with whipped cream and try adding some mint. (Mint flavored Hershey kisses work well) I like to drink hot chocolate best while eating Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, the combination is so yummy. If I'm in a hurry then I just buy the allready made hot cocoa mixes. This is much easier for the kids.
I make my own by simmering milk add in Chocolate syrup and mint kisses, top with whipped cream.
